We're committed to Nature and Our Community

We 're passionate about our natural environment and the birds and wildlife that inhabit it. For over 18 years Wild Birds Unlimited in Hockessin has supported nature and birding organizations in our area. These groups include: The Delaware Nature Society, The Delmarva Ornithological Society, the Red Clay Valley Association, Tri-State Bird Rescue and the Delaware Humane Association. We finnacially support these groups throughout the year and hope you will too.  Each organization could use financial donations, members and volunteers. Wild Birds Unlimited maintains the flower bed in the median strip on route 41 in Hockessin and is also responsible for the clean up of Ewart road in Kennett Township. We have been a major finnacial supporter of the Annual Red Clay Valley Clean-Up for many years and in conjunction with the Delaware Humane Association hold a Pet Adoption Day at our store each July. Also we our members of the Hockessin Business Association which can be found on Facebook. This business is an extension of Kathy's and my belief that each of us needs to give back to the community. With your support of our store we will continue to do so.
