Wild Birds Unlimited in Hockessin is currently seeking part time Retail Sales Associates. 

We are looking for energetic and happy people to join our staff. This is not a quiet little bird store. It's an exciting fast paced environment where you can learn a lot about birds and nature. Our goal is to provide quality products, service, expertise and a pleasant shopping experience for all our customers. You too could work at our Wild Birds Unlimited store and help customers bring nature into their own backyard and lives. 

We are a small community minded business. The support and training that we provide to our Sales Associates will enable you to function confidently in a retail environment. Come join our team!

Training:

Qualifications:

Applicants should:
• Have recent cash register, POS, and computer experience.
• Be able to lift up to 40 pounds, with 20 pounds being a regular task.
• We are currently seeking someone who can work Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. 
• At this time we are not seeking seasonal help. Applicant must be able to work throughout the year.
• This is a non-smoking environment.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers and assisting them with selecting the best products for their needs.

Educating customers about the birds and wildlife in their yards.

Processing sales transactions.

Receiving inventory shipments and restocking shelves.

Keeping the store clean and organized.
