Help I Found a Baby Bird!
Tri-State Bird Rescue
It's baby bird season. In every tree, bush, and birdhouse there are families of birds. Once the fledglings leave the nest they may appear to need help but you must remember you are not their parent. In most instances the parents are nearby you just need to give them space. Keep cats, and dogs away from the babies and as long as the adult is feeding them it will be okay. Live mealworms are good food to set out as the parents can feed the worms to the young. If you're lucky the young will follow the parents to your feeders.
We are very lucky to have Tri-State Bird Rescue in are area. It is baby bird season and they are quite busy. Please have patience with them. Also consider volunteering at or donating to Tri-State Bird Rescue. https://tristatebird.org/
