In May of 2022, Charles and Kathy Shattuck were recognized by the Wild Birds Unlimited franchise as Save the Song Bird Heroes. This was awarded to the Shattuck's for their efforts in recycling Wild Birds Unlimited seed bags. It's also recognizes them for being the first Wild Birds Unlimited in the country to create bird feeders from plastic seed bags. We couldn't do any of this without the partnership we have with the folks at Eco-Plastic Products of Delaware.
