Charles and Kathy Shattuck recently received a Wild Birds Unlimited franchise award. Save the Song Birds Hero Award. It was bestowed upon them for their efforts in recycling their stores plastic waste and in creating a program whereby the customers of Wild Birds Unlimited in Hockessin can bring back their empty seed bags to get recycled.
